Venice Design Biennial returns to Venice from 5 September to 2 November, in parallel with the Architecture Biennale. Extinction / Salvation is theme of the fifth edition, presenting  a selection of talented designers and including in the programme an exclusive design tour to 20th century Venetian residences.

As in previous editions, the Venice Design Biennial explores the different declinations of this theme through the Main Group Exhibition Extinction / Salvation, curated by Francesca Giubilei and Luca Berta, and a selection of  Collateral Projects organized by design firms and galleries who present their shows in independent spaces.

The collective exhibition Extinction / Salvation presents the works of about 40 international designers in two exhibition venues:
