The two-artist exhibition, curated by Luca Berta and Francesca Giubilei, explores the thresholds of identity, form and otherness, turning the interruption caused by Beaufour’s death into an unexpected and powerfulrenewal of artistic dialogue.

From 5th to 27th September, the historic spaces of Palazzetto Tito, home of the Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa in Venice, will host Tutte le creature abitano il confine (All Creatures Dwell on the Border), bringing together the visions of Henri Beaufour and Chiara Calore.

The encounter takes the form of a profound visual and conceptual conversation between two artists of different generations (Beaufour, 1965–2025; Calore, 1994).

Although their artistic languages differ in medium and form, both investigate subjects marked by a fundamental instability. Their figures exist in a state of perpetual transformation, suspended between the human and the animal, theearthly and the otherworldly, the everyday and the mythological.
