Dora Fiammetta Perini (NYC, 1995) conducts a visceral exploration in which the body is the source, the vessel and the primary system of orientation in the world.

Food becomes a critical lens through which to address themes such as control, addiction, nourishment and vulnerability. Through sculpture, installation, photography and performance, the artist triggers a digestive process of decomposition. Reality is chewed up and reduced to household waste, revealing the constant tension between aspiration and decay, desire and excess.

TROPPA invites us to transform waste from a failure into a pure opportunity for expression.
