On the occasion of the centenary of Franz Kafka's death, VeniceArtFactory and Fondation Valmont are pleased to invite you to the inauguration of Silvano Rubino's solo exhibition "Progetto Kafka. La scrittura e il segno", which will be held on 20 January from 6pm at SPARC*-Spazio Arte Contemporanea.

In 1993, Rubino lived in Brazil and presented his first installation work inspired by Kafka's writings and life to the public there. At the time, it all began with a fragment of a handwritten page by the Prague author.

Just as Kafka, in his Letter to the Father, sought to shake off the emptiness of unspoken words, Rubino tries to replicate the same gesture through his works.

For this new exhibition project, Rubino integrates and transforms the works of Projecto Kafka (1993), constructing for them a new space and reason for being.
