Presented at ACP – Palazzo Franchetti in Venice, this exhibition explores the multifaceted practice of Italian artist Giosetta Fioroni, the only female representative of the Pop Art movement associated with the Roman Scuola di Piazza del Popolo.

Focusing on the relationship between image and text, the exhibition highlights Fioroni’s artist books and literary collaborations, alongside her iconic Argenti paintings from the 1960s and 1970s. These works reflect her unique visual language, where memory, narration, and imagination intertwine.

As Fioroni described it: “Silver is memory, it is recovery and suspension of different times.”

Bringing together visual art and literature, the exhibition reveals how words can act as a catalyst for images, shaping a poetic and deeply personal artistic universe that continues to resonate today.
