Contemporis ETS, in collaboration with Venice Art Factory, presents the exhibition How long is forever? dedicated to the artistic research of Silvano Rubino who on this occasion will open the doors of his new studio on the Giudecca island to the public.

The exhibition will present some glass works made in Murano and in other artisan workshops in the Veneto hinterland between 2007 and 2013, relating glass experiments with pictorial, photographic and installation works.
The visitor will have the opportunity to learn about Silvano Rubino's creative path from painting to the most recent installations consisting of essential architectures in which he inserts elements in glass, marble and video projections.

Silvano Rubino's work allows us to reflect on a very current theme: the relationship between contemporary art and applied arts, highlighting how the most innovative and experimental languages of art cannot develop without turning their gaze to the tradition of ancient know-how of the artisans, who with their knowledge and technique allow the artist to best express his vision.
