DOMANI: A long journey on a car without rear view, through the decades at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries. This is the art of Jacques Martinez.
In the trunk rack only three things: painting, sculpture, drawings. As cardinal points: landscape, human figure, still life, abstraction. On the occasion of his eightieth birthday, Jacques Martinez draws his spiritual geography of southern Europe with four exhibitions that fuse past and present in the places most dear to him: Nice/joy, Venice/love, Milan/friendship, Lugano/home.
