Attorno alla larva di zanzara che balla in una goccia d'acqua (Around the mosquito larva dancing in a drop of water) by Daniela Manzolli brings together many of the Venetian artist's works from 1998 to today. On show are olfactory installations, video installations, sculptural and photographic installations, taking artistic techniques and insects as a pretext to talk about something marginal and unexpected in artistic discovery.

"Around the mosquito larva dancing in a drop of water, there is us, not much more important or aware in our biodiversity, it is a matter of glances", says the artist, "after some time, standing still observing an apparently insignificant corner of reality, I discover something new, which was almost invisible before, that is how I spot an insect among the blades of grass or the possible declinations of an artistic technique".

Daniela Manzolli lives and works in Venice. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and Brera in Sculpture and Art and Public Space in Brera - Milan, Manzolli has worked for private and national TV, in video post-production studios, and has collaborated on video documentaries, art videos and hyperrealist sculptures. She has worked as an assistant to Ernesto Luciano Francalanci for the University Iuav, Emilio Fantin, Luca Panaro and Ricciarda Belgioioso for the Politecnico. Manzolli also lectured in Methodology of Multimedia Art Techniques at the IED in Venice. She has exhibited in numerous exhibitions and events.
