INTRISO - A PERFORMATIVE INSTALLATION
On the occasion of the Venice Art Night, within the Women | Matter exhibition, the dancer Alessandra Miotti will be presenting “intriso”, her own performative installation as a result of a research period with a focus on the relationship between performance and exhibition environments.
Intriso performance is a moving transposition of a sensorial and semantic journey, whose origin is found in the works and words of the four artists hosted at SPARC* - Spazio Arte Contemporanea.
Alessandra Miotti says: "I tried to transform the sensations coming from observing the artworks of this exhibition into movement. The works of the various artists are vehicles of stories, memories, intentions, and reflections that generate different reactions on a mental and body level: from the precise geometries that break to penetrate themselves, fitting together like the pieces of a children's game, to the materials that activate tactile memory in the brain. A dialogue between different porosities, colours, sounds, and settings that become concrete through movement. Different ways of being a woman, united by the desire to have their own voice, to express themselves, and leave a mark created with their own hands, through their own hands. A process, that of creation, whose movement is as ephemeral as that of a dancer".
Duration: 7 minutes.
The performance will be repeated from 8 pm to 10 pm. Available places: 8 pm - 8.30 pm - 9 pm - 9.30 pm.
