Noemi Durighello

larger.jpg

Noemi Durighello is a young artist born in Feltre (Belluno) in 1996. Graduated in 2019 in Painting, Visual Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. She is currently attending the Visual Arts, Painting MFA Programme at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Dresden.
In 2019 she received a mention from the jury at the Premio Combat Prize (Museo G. Fattori, Livorno), while in 2020 she was announced as finalist.

Choosing to build images around simple shapes, subliminal details, and everyday objects and scenes, Noemi uses forms and colors to transcend volume and perspective in order to organize chaotic yet minimal landscapes. With a gritty, unflinching pictorial gesture, hers is a research characterized by an almost compulsive focus that serves as a mirror for the complexity of the human mind.
